Leadership in practice
I bring together disciplines that are often managed separately: the economics of a business, the engineering of a project and the capability of its people.
My current remit combines Group General Manager responsibilities at Al Malki Holding with General Manager and Board of Governors responsibilities at Arabian MEP. It includes direct MEP Director leadership of Al Rawdah & Academy and its data-centre scope.
I lead across the full management cycle: which opportunities to pursue, what commitments to make, how to resource the work, where risk is developing, and what has to happen for the completed asset to perform.
Earlier leadership of trading and manufacturing gives me an additional perspective on contracting: the supplier, the factory, the channel partner and the service organization are part of the same delivery system.
